What to include

  • A signature of the person authorized to act for the copyright owner
  • A description of the copyrighted work you claim was infringed
  • A description of where the material is on SpoonDish, specific enough for us to find it
  • Your address, telephone number, and email address
  • A statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorized by the owner, the owner’s agent, or the law
  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the notice is accurate and that you are the owner or authorized to act for the owner

Counter-notices use the same address. The full repeat-infringer policy is in the Terms of Service. Registering this agent in the U.S. Copyright Office directory is a separate filing the company completes at dmca.copyright.gov.
